HCAFE
HCAFE is a program founded with initiative of People to People (P2P).
HCAFE is created by medical professionals of Ethiopian diaspora to fill the gap in the Ethiopian Health Care Crisis following the well-known internal conflict in Ethiopia that erupted late in 2021.
Our History
We weren't Blind
Since November 2020, the civil war in the northern part of Ethiopia have caused immense misery.
Thousands of innocent lives were lost, millions have been displaced and become homeless.
Continued death of innocents, sexual violence, malnutrition, PTSD, famine etc. are among the result of this the ruthless civil war that have impacted all of us in the diaspora.
We are Medical Professionals
We, as medical professionals have felt the need to get involved to support the already weakened and poor Ethiopian Health Care system.
And We Acted
Sometime in September of 2021, concerned medical professionals of Ethiopian origin of the diaspora in collaboration with P2P founded Health Care Alliance For Ethiopia (HCAFE) to provide medical support to the victims of the civil war.

Get Involved
HCAFE works with Ministry of Health of Ethiopia (MOH of Ethiopia) in restoration efforts using the twining project outlined by MOH of Ethiopia, in regions of Northern Ethiopia affected by the ongoing conflict.
